Multiplier event in the frame of the AGREEN project was held in Thessaloniki, Greece on the 19th of December 2022

On December 19, 2022 Anatoliki – Organization for Local Development S.A. held a multiplier event in the frame of the AGREEN project.

The multiplier event was supported by associate professor Dr. Panagiota Sergaki from the School of Agriculture of AUTh and hosted within the master course in Rural Economy and Development. The first topic of the event was the “Climate-smart approach to agriculture” as it is the main focus of the AGREEN project. The following lectures were regarding “Value chains of climate-resilient agrifood products”, “Sustainable farm management”, “Financing climate-smart agricultural activities”, “Sustainable agricultural goods marketing” and “International trade and partnerships”.

During the event, Veroniki Paradisopοulοu and Panos Papadopοulos, two post-graduate students from the School of Agriculture of AUTh, and Polychronis Chronopοulos, a young agronomist from the Agricultural Cooperative of Vasilika, shared their valuable knowledge with the trainees, acting as knowledge multipliers. The event was hosted by Dr. Panagiota Sergaki and supervised by project coordinator Vaso Papadopoulou and Natasa Rizopoulou from Anatoliki S.A., and Jenny Elemee from OECON Consultants Group.
