AGREEN sets the following goals in order to meaningfully contribute to the implementation of CSA in the BSB

block1-agreen.png

To design a common brand for agricultural products originating in the Black Sea Basin and produced in a climate-smart way.

block2-agreen.png

To strengthen cooperation among the framers, entrepreneurs and professionals engaged in conservation and sustainable agriculture in the Black Sea region via improving the information exchange, peer learning and internet connectivity

block3-agreen.png

To encourage the modernisation of agriculture in the Black Sea Basin by promotion of climate-adaptation models and by training young professionals to manage sustainable farms.

The challenge Innovations in agricultural sector

There is a huge collective challenge we are all facing – food, trade and ecosystem stability are at stake.

Is it possible to adapt the production of agriculture to climate specifics? Innovations in the agricultural sector are not unknown, but are they applied? Where and how? Are we taking care of our environment while producing goods? How this influences the income of farmers and the overall economy of locals? Unity is needed to manage the risk of our conventional food chain. Our plan is to create a transnational network for the transfer of good practices and advice.
