In recent years, organic agriculture has begun to spread more rapidly in the world, and Armenia has not been left out of it.
“Organic Armenia” Agricultural Association NGO was established in order to promote the production, processing and consumption of organic food, sustainable agriculture, and ecologically clean environment. The vision of the association is to contribute to people’s health and create a clean environment in Armenia. The members of “Organic Armenia” produce and promote the consumption of locally produced food not only in Armenia, but also abroad.
The association has adopted working principles and values, the proper provision of which is the key to their success. Among those values are involvement, cooperation, transparency in financial and communication processes and efficiency.
“Organic Armenia” was created with the support of the OASI program of the Austrian Development Agency.
Thus, the main goal of the association’s activity is the improvement and development of the organic sector of Armenia.
