The International Business Conference on the Internet connectivity in the BSB was held on 28 June 2021 in Thessaloniki, Greece with the kind hosting of our Greek partner ANATOLIKI – Organization for local development.
The aim of the conference was to raise the awareness and practical knowledge of the farms and enterprises in agriculture as well as the other project stakeholders on the modernization opportunities provided by Internet and the benefits of the on-line connectivity for the securing the sustainability of the sector.
The event was organized with the participation of representatives of all project partners from Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Georgia, Armenia and Greece and this was the first international event actually attended by all partners in person. Thanks to the efforts of the partnering organizations representatives of different interest groups, farmers, experts, public authorities, etc. were involved in the conference sessions and discussions. All partners also engaged external representatives as experts or owners of agri- or IT specialized enterprises who attended the event together with the project consortium.
In addition, local participants were invited to attend the event in person and the team was very happy to have representative of the Municipality of Thermi and other guests who contributed to the presentation of the local innovations and good practices.

The working language of the conference was English respectively the materials and presentations of the key speakers are also in English.
