Yesterday, March 23, 2022, at the “Ovidius” University of Constanța, took place the Local Business Workshop for the presentation of the Internet Platform for the collaboration of producers in sustainable agriculture and the promotion of climate-smart agriculture (AGREEN Platform).
This event was organized in a hybrid system (face to face and online) within the AGREEN Project – Cross-border Alliance for Green and Smart Agriculture in the Black Sea Basin (Contract No. BSB 1135) – Activity A.T.3.3.
The workshop had a dual role, to disseminate and popularize the Internet Platform and its services, but also to test its functionality and relevance to the needs of stakeholders.
In this workshop was presented the Agreen Project, the internet platform for the collaboration of producers in sustainable agriculture, as well as the dissemination of internet platform services, namely entrepreneurship learning for climate-smart agriculture.
Along with the project team consisting of professors from “Ovidius” University of Constanța – project coordinator (Prof. habil. PhD. Liliana Panaitescu), coordinator of the community of practice (Assoc. Prof. PhD. Irina Moise), experts of the project (Prof. PhD. Valentina Pomazan – course development expert; Assist. PhD. Simona Pricop – internet platform support expert) and assistant manager – Assist. PhD. Lavinia Istratie Macarov, this workshop was also attended by other members of the project, representatives of University „Ovidius”, professional associations in the field of agriculture, farmers, students, specialists in the domain of sustainable agriculture and natural resource management, professors from other Romanian Universities, as well as other stakeholders, in total over 100 persons.
The workshop was held for one day and depending on the feedback of the participants, expressed during the questions and answers session, practical testing sessions of the AGREEN platform were followed.
